When God Delays… (READ Acts 3 Vv1-10) Have you ever called on the Lord to move in your life, but He did not respond when or how you wanted Him to? The Man In Our Story Was Lame From Birth… Because of his condition, he was not even permitted into the Temple to worship God. The temple gate “beautiful” was a cruel, constant reminder that he was not one of the “beautiful” people. What Happens When We Feel Like God Is Delaying? 1) Delayed Miracles Can Cause Disappointment – With all of these miracles in the very region where he lived, WHY was he left out? 2) Delayed Miracles May Turn Into Doubts – You may find that God has an even greater plan than you could have ever imagined. The Motivation For God’s Miracles – His Glory Scripture says that they were “filled with wonder and amazement”. When the crowd was gathered, Peter began to preach to them. He proclaimed that he nor John had healed this man, IT WAS JESUS! The Message In God’s Miracles 1) Jesus Is Powerful 2) Jesus’ Perspective 3) Jesus Is Present Who are you called to “look at”, like Peter did to the crippled man? Is there a person that God wants to heal through YOU? Is there a kingdom mission or need God wants to meet through YOU? Sometimes while you are waiting for your miracle, God is ready to make you the miracle for someone else. Be present! Even as you “look up” with expectation, others may be looking up to you. Who sits outside your gate waiting for God’s power, perspective. presence to be revealed? Who sits outside your “gate”, waiting for a miracle?
